Neopak’s Recycling division is focused on the recycling of used paper and paper products. This collected material is used as key input for the manufacturing of the recycled paper that is produced at our Rosslyn manufacturing plant.
Core to our Neopak DNA is being a responsible stewards of the environment and manufacturing paper that is made from 100% recycled fibres enables us to make a real and significant impact on reducing waste that would otherwise have ended up in been sent to landfill. To put this in perspective, if you look at a “typical brown box” that weighs 250 grams, Neopak would be recycling around 500 million of these boxes on an annual basis.
We believe that our responsibility towards sustainability does not only extend to waste management but also to uplift and develop communities. It is for this reason that our sourcing model enables us to source recyclable fibre via two main channels across South Africa. Baled waste is sent directly to our manufacturing facility in Rosslyn.
